Stadion Podgorica
Montenegro 3 San Marino 0
Far from the beating we’d feared for San Marino, a 3-0
defeat represents something of a triumph for our boys in blue against the team
now installed at the top of group H (although they are the only team to have
had the pleasure of playing San Marino twice so far).
Two first half goals from Andrija Delibasic ended this one
early, but Montenegro could only add one more quite late on from Elsad
Zverotic.
So notable progress for San Marino I feel, but of course no
goals and no points. Looking ahead, next
up is England at home and Poland away.
Oh lordy...
